In a bizarre partnership that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret sect.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar trials and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
